Revision Nose Job With Rib Graft
Revision rhinoplasty operation may require more complicated and more complicated techniques than primary rhinoplasty surgery.

When using cadaveric rib cartilage belonging to other people, the risk of absorption of the rib cartilages placed later is written on the internet. So far, I have not seen rib cartilage spontaneously absorb or dissociate without infection. However, in patients who are planned for complicated revision rhinoplasty, there is a risk of subcutaneous blood circulation insufficiency and the risk of infection or structural change of the placed cartilages. Even if the implanted cartilages belong to the patient or belong to someone else; Insufficient circulation of the area where these grafts are placed is a major problem. To understand this beforehand, Doppler USG can be performed on the nose, but there is no standard method.

The cost of the revision rhinoplasty procedure varies between 4500-6000 us dollars, depending on the features of the nose, the grafts to be used and the materials. In some patients, it may be necessary to use more than one graft such as rib cartilage and temporal muscle fascia, the operation time may be longer, in this case it is natural that the procedure fees increase.
