Medication that prescribed after rhinoplasty?



On the day of the surgery, the drugs to be used after the nasal aesthetic surgery are small may vary slightly, but can be summarized as follows:

- Sprays containing sterile saline (ocean water sprays) for washing silicone splints in the nose and mucous membranes other than the silicone splint, for cleaning crusts and for the benefit of the anti-inflammatory effect of salt.

- Nasal moisturizing medicines (rinopanthen drops, siccnazal ointments, nazalnem drops) to increase the moisture of the mucosa in the nose and increase epithelization

- Antibiotic-containing pomades (bactroban pomat, thiocilline skn ointment ...)

- Oral antibiotic tablets for the prevention of infections (Zinnat 500 mg tablet, Augmentin 1 g tablet ...)

 - Oral painkillers for use in case of pain

- Other than these, edema-removing drugs (Arnica gel, Arnigen Spray ...) can be prescribed for bruising around the face and eyes.

All these medicines will be explained to you in detail by me or my assistant.

In the morning and postoperatively, the reason for the use of each drug and its usage will be explained. Apart from this, the use of the most important ones is explained separately.
