A Peaceful Environment within 1-2 Hours of Istanbul: Şile and Agva

Rokethane Cafe - Şile and Robin's Nest Eco Resort - Ağva Boutique Hotel

The photo above and the videos below were taken from the Rokethane Kafe in Şile (https://www.kahvaltidanevar.com/rokethane-restoran-kafe-sile-istanbul/). This region used to be an area where ships were salvaged and firecrackers were produced and launched at the seaside during the Ottoman Empire. There is a paid beach next to it that. Very nice environment.

Recent researches show that the surroundings of Şile were inhabited in the prehistoric (Polished Stone Age). In the prehistoric studies conducted on the Black Sea coast between Kefken and the Bulgarian border, many mansions and workshops belonging to various parts of the Paleolithic age and especially the Epi-Paleolithic period were found in various places. It is clear from the increase in the number of find sites that there was a significant population density on the Black Sea coastline coastline during the post-glacial period (approximately between 12000 and 6000 BC) (Source: Sile District Governorate - http://www.sile.gov.tr/silenin-tarihcesi).

The photos below were taken at Robin's Nest Eco Resort - Agva Boutique Hotel (https://agvarobinsnest.com/). It is a region on the banks of a river, 2 hours away from Istanbul, where you can travel by canoe and travel with ATV cars. It is beneficial to rent a car.
