As a general rule, patients who undergo nose surgery during the first three weeks after nasal surgery should avoid physical activity.
This rule can be roughly modified from small to large according to different clinics and procedures:
• Swimming after radiofrequency turbinate turbinate reduction operation: In case of going to clean sea, it may swim after 2nd week. It is ideal to have 2 more weeks to dive.
• Swimming after septoplasty operation: Swim after 2 weeks if going to clean seas. It is ideal to have 2 or 3 more weeks to dive.
• Swimming after rhinoplasty operation: If you go to clean seas, you can swim after 3 weeks and it is ideal to wait 6 weeks for diving.

Swimming in the pool after nose surgery
Chlorination is not recommended in pools where water disinfection is done, swimming in pools for the first 6 weeks after nose operations because of possible toxic effects of chlorine and pathogens such as chlorine-resistant bacteria or fungi increase the risk of infection.
