Rhinoplasty Recovery Guide 👃 - 27 - Wearing Glasses / Sunglasses After Rhinoplasty

Can I Wear Glasses After Rhinoplasty?

How long after rhinoplasty until I can wear glasses?

In nasal aesthetic surgery, the arch section of the nasal bone is usually truncated and the nasal bone is shaped by breaking through the sides. Postoperatively, the nose splints are used to protect the nose of the nose. After these procedures on the nasal bone, full recovery can be completed in 6 months. It is appropriate that patients who use glasses before surgery do not use glasses for 6 months and use lenses if necessary. This may be considerably shorter in patients with nasal bone fractures and only those who have undergone filing. After the nasal tip aesthetics and nasal tip lifting procedures, only the first week glasses may be inconvenient. After a classic nose surgery, you can read the articles on the internet sites after 2 months. I advise my patients not to wear glasses for 6 months.

Since sunglasses are not necessarily mandatory, they should not be used within this period.

After rhinoplasty operations without bone broken (when limited tounching made to the nasal bone), light frame glasses can be used after 2 months.

The information in this guide was prepared by Dr.Murat Enöz for patients who underwent rhinoplasty.
You can find different opinions and suggestions from other clinics and doctors. Please take into consideration
the recommendations of the doctors who performed your aesthetic nose surgery. Sometimes drug names given here
only in Turkey may also belong to the drugs found. Plenty of luck :)
