In addition to general precautions such as increasing oral fluid consumption, using juicy fruits and vegetables, operating the cold steam machine in the bedroom, washing the nose with saline water, alteration of habits such as alcohol, salt, coffee consumption reduction and confusion; measures such as termination of the use of drugs that cause dryness of the nose may also be necessary for the treatment of nasal dryness.

Nasal moisturizing medicines contain oil or vaseline-based ingredients that cover the nasal mucosa. These contents may prevent the contents of the sprays produced for allergy treatment from reaching the nasal mucosa.
