Nasal bleeding in children is generally more innocent and is caused by the thrust of a finger-made nasal septum mucosa. In older patients and in patients with recurrent severe bleeding, uncontrolled hypertension, vascular diseases, bleeding disorders may be a more serious underlying cause. Particularly in patients who received no treatment and hidden hypertension, only patients with epistaxis were diagnosed with hypertension and treatment was initiated. In fact, it is a symptom that scares the patient due to hypertension; long-term uncontrolled hypertension also protects the patient.
Hypertension-induced nosebleeds can be seen at night during the night in sleep, and may occur when the patient is irritated or eating salt. It usually presents as a severe nosebleed bleeding from the back of the nose. The ear nose throat specialist and the cardiologist should evaluate the patient. Otorhinolaryngologists evaluated the patient for emergency nose bleeding. Cardiologists should also evaluate the patient for the treatment of hypertension and for the treatment of long-term hypertension.
