Intranasal Implant Releasing Controlled Cortisone: Propel Sinus Implant

Propel Sinus Implant

Propel Sinus Implant

An intranasal implant that provides control of corticosteroid (mometasone furoate) developed for the treatment of chronic sinusitis and prevention of adhesions and inflammation after functional endoscopic sinus surgery. Once inside the nose, it is opened spontaneously, and cortisone (mometozone furoate) is secreted into the area where it is present for 30 days. After 30 days, it melts away. Nice and practical product. Especially developed for patients with nasal obstruction due to nose polyps and allergic rhinitis and patients with chronic sinusitis who underwent endoscopic sinusitis surgery. I don't use it very often, but I shared it because it has a nice logic.

This implant can reduce the need for oral steroids and additional surgical procedures.
