Male Rhinoplasty For Asymetrical and Thick Skinned Nose

Nose Job For Male Video

We performed a male rhinoplasty operation for an asymmetrical nose with thick skin features. As seen in the video above and in the photos below, we performed septorhinoplasty for aesthetic and functional purposes for a nose where asymmetric areas on the tip of the nose, supratip area and nasal bone were noted. During the procedure, we also performed septoplasty and radiofrequency turbinate reduction to relieve the patient's intranasal airways. During the rhinoplasty operation performed on the patient, it was aimed to construct the support tissue of the nasal tip using curved cartilages obtained from the nasal septum and to have the nostrils as close to each other as possible. Various dome sutures and overlapping technique were applied to the patient in order to equalize the legs of the alar cartilages, and cap grafti and columellar strut graft were placed at the tip of the nose. Planned bone breaking (or bone cutting - osteotomy) procedures were performed on both sides to narrow the nasal tip. All suture materials seen from the outside are spontaneously dissolvable. It is not always possible to achieve full symmetry with just one surgery after operations on asymmetrical noses. It should not be forgotten that unlike a "simple animation study", the procedure is performed on a living tissue with continuous healing properties, and the memory of cartilage and bone may affect recovery.

Male Nose Job For Asymetrical and Thick Skinned Nose - Second Patient Example

We performed an open technique micromotor assisted rhinoplasty operation on our male patient who had a sagging nose tip and asymmetry in the nose after a previous nasal trauma. We performed bilevel underskin tissue removal and bone shaping procedures with an ultrasonic device, and limited nasal hump reduction with a microdrill. The patient had ethnic facial features and an extremely thick skin structure. This patient also had an advanced septum deviation that covered the left nasal valve area inside the nose, and we performed a septoplasty operation on the patient at the same time. Before and after images and videos of the patient are shared below:
