We performed a rhinoplasty operation on a very arched and asymmetrical nose. There is a very mild hump appearance due to edema in the nasal hump area of the patient. In this way, patients with excessive nasal arch reduction are more likely to develop post-operative bruising and edema. Attention to hypotension during surgery, use of anti-bleeding drugs, cortisone, cold application and minimal traumatic techniques may affect this recovery period and the amount of edema and bruises that occur after surgery. Due to the injection of local anesthetic on the nose of the patient, small punctate bleeding areas may be seen on the nasal skin. At the tip of the nose of the patient, basket stitches that fix the small cartilage grafts placed under the skin after surgery, which can dissolve from the margin are seen.
