Female Rhinoplasty Operation For Thick Skinned Nose
We performed open technique rhinoplasty operation on the patient with asymmetrical and thick skin features. Left alar base resection was also performed during the procedure. It was aimed to obtain a natural look. As seen in the video, after the reduction of the nasal arch, the narrowing and lifting of the nasal tip, a natural and beautiful nose shape was obtained. In patients with thick skin, different cartilage grafts may be required for rhinoplasty operation. The patient also performed bilateral skin dissection in the nasal tip area and resection of the subcutaneous socket. It is sometimes almost impossible to obtain a thin and angular nasal tip in patients with thick skin characteristics.
