Before and Postoperative 1st Week Photos For Rhinoplasty
In the video above and in the photos below, there are images of a female patient with a limited amount of nasal arch and a round sagging nasal tip before, immediately after and 1 week after the open technique rhinoplasty operation.
Edema in the nose is remarkable in the photographs taken immediately after the operation. In the photographs taken in the 1st week, nasal edema and skin oil remaining under the bands on the nose are still seen.
In rhinoplasty operations, when minimal traumatic techniques are used, bruises can be seen very rarely, except for vague skin edema, as seen here. However, when bone reshaping is performed, no technique can guarantee a completely bruise-free postoperative period. Generally, the bruise that occurs after the rhinoplasty operation disappears completely within 2 weeks.
During the rhinoplasty operation performed on the patient I shared with you here, the bone cutting (osteotomy) procedure was performed by opening a microtunnel under the nasal skin.
