Some of The Physicians Who Died During The Coronavirus Pandemic Published In The Lancet

In the coronavirus epidemic, which affected millions of people and thousands of physicians worldwide, there are thousands of physicians who died by being exposed to this virus due to their profession. Some of these were featured in The Lancet Journal and their biographies were explained. I thank The Lancet Journal editors and authors for their sensitivity. Prof.Dr.Cemil Taşçıoğlu, who is among these biographies from our country, is the person who has an important place in my education when I was in medical school. Throughout my life, I will not forget his approach to patients, his respect for humanitarian and ethical values, his vast medical knowledge, his emphasis over and over that the patient should be evaluated in every aspect, and the lessons he overcomes how to evaluate a patient from top to bottom in practical applications. I wish patience to the families and loved ones of all my colleagues who died in the way of serving humanity. Let the efforts and lives saved by each physician on this list, such as Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu, to gain professional skills, be a light for the doctors who will grow up in the next generation. All over the world, I wish this Covid-19 virus infection to end as soon as possible. I wish condolences to the relatives and loved ones of all people who lost their lives during the pandemic period 😞.
