Nose Aesthetic Surgery With Treatment Nasal Valve Collapse
We also performed septorhinoplasty operation and nasal valve surgery on a male patient with thick skin features, drooping nasal tip and nasal valve collapse. In the videos above and below, you can find images before and after the operation.
Different cartilage grafts were used to reconstruct the nasal cartilage support tissue of the patient, and at the same time, alar batten grafts and bilateral spreader grafts were used to reduce intranasal airway resistance and increase nasal valve angle. As can be seen in the images, forward and upward orientation at the tip of the nose alone provides an increase in the nasal valve angle. When viewed from below, it is seen that the nostrils are enlarged and a triangular structure in the form of the tip of the nose is formed. A serious functional gain has been obtained with a cosmetic purpose in the process performed here. It is very important to increase the cartilage support tissue due to its thick skin properties.
The nose was edematous when the photograph was taken, as deep tissue dissection and external osteotomy were also performed.
