Comparison of 1st and 5th Months After Nose Aesthetic Operation
I would like to share with you the result of micro motor assisted open technique rhinoplasty surgery. First of all, I would like to thank you for sharing the patient photos with us and giving permission. During rhinoplasty operations, we plan the operation according to the patient's skin structure and facial features. The skin on the tip of the nose of my patient, which I shared with you here, was thick and oily. The tip of the nose was drooping and we reduced the nasal arch during the rhinoplasty operation we performed on our patient, we lifted the tip of the nose upwards and moved it backwards a little.
In patients with thick skin structure, it may take a little longer for the edema in the nose skin to disappear completely, especially in patients with very thick skin, this period can take up to 2.5 years. You can find the photos of many patients before and after the patient's before and after the operation by clicking the search button above on this website. You can find the photos taken immediately after the surgery, the photos taken in the 1st month and the 5th month.
Recovery speed after rhinoplasty operation!
When we look at the photos of 1 month, 6 months, 1 year and the second year after the rhinoplasty operation in some patients, we can see that the recovery and decrease in edema are much slower than in other patients.
The factors that determine the speed of recovery after rhinoplasty can be listed as follows:
- If the patient has thick skin today, the amount of payment that may occur after the surgery and the recovery period may be higher than normal.
- In patients with a history of previous surgical trauma, recovery may inevitably be slower after operations to the nose area. In all nasal surgical interventions, especially after complicated nasal aesthetic surgeries, the surgeon should act very carefully, and the surgery should be terminated with as little trauma as possible in terms of negative healing characteristics and possible circulatory disorder.
- In patients with a previous history of nasal trauma and subsequent trauma, the recovery period may be longer due to the altered anatomy and the large amount of surgical procedures performed during surgery.
- If the patient uses cocaine before the rhinoplasty operation or the nasal mucosa is unhealthy, dry and crusty due to mechanical trauma, there is an infection in it, or there is a perforation in the nose due to various reasons, the healing may be adversely affected and the recovery period may be longer than normal.
- The patient's own negative healing characteristics, protein deficiency, malnutrition, immune system related disorders, various adverse diseases or conditions that may affect the general body resistance and affect the healing properties, such as vitamin deficiencies.
As you can see in the photos of the patient 1 month after the nose plastic surgery, the edema on the nose is quite evident and the tip of the nose looks quite wide. In the photographs of the patient 5 months later, it can be noticed that the nasal bone, where the edema at the tip of the nose has decreased, looks much thinner and more beautiful.
