During the rhinoplasty operation, it is generally not recommended to use a transitional head massage machine in the first few weeks after the operation. This is because during this period, the tissues, bones and cartilages that are rearranged in the nose are still in the healing process and are very sensitive to any movement or pressure. Nasal healing continues after two months as 80%. The spread of an energy transferred through the bone, such as vibration energy, from the head region to the nose may occur during this period. Selections from the machine may cause the following situations in the early period after rhinoplasty:

It May Negatively Affect the Healing Process: Vibration may cause a slight movement in the bones, cartilage or sutures, which may be the final result. It may cause the bone lamellae to shift and asymmetric products to appear.

It May Increase Swelling and Bruising: Vibrations or pressures may cause increased intra-tissue bleeding, decrease existing swelling or bruising in the nasal areas.

Risk of Complications: The use of such devices may increase risks such as bleeding or damage to the surgical site.

It is recommended that you wait at least 6-8 weeks before using any device on or near the face before use. Always consult your surgeon before using any head or face massager after surgery.
