7 Days After Nose Job

Generally, the first week after rhinoplasty is the most troublesome period for patients. In the first week after the rhinoplasty operation, bruising and swelling occur around the eyes and face. Nosebleeds are usually the most during the first 3 days. While bruising and swelling increase in the first 3 days, it decreases in the following days.

7-10 days after the rhinoplasty operation, internal silicone splints on the nose, bandage and inside the nose are removed. As seen in these photographs, the skin accumulates oil on the nose. I especially wanted to share with you the photos taken without cleaning the skin.

In summary, what should be done after a week after the nose aesthetic operation:

Regular nasal bandaging for another 2 weeks can help reduce nasal edema faster. After this period, nasal taping can only be done while sleeping. This will be explained to you in detail.

- It is appropriate to sleep with a 45 degree position for 2 more weeks asleep

- In the bathroom, it is still useful not to miss the city mains water into the nose and it would be better to wait 2 more times for this.

- there is more time for strenuous exercise and you can only take a brisk walk and jog

- of course you still can't wear glasses

- You can use ocean water spray and a cotton pad to clean your nasal skin

- Please continue to apply pomade to the incision area at the tip of the nose and under the nose wings, which is not easily visible

- Continue to regularly apply moisturizing nasal drops and ocean water spray into the nose. It is ideal to spray first spray for 2 minutes, then drop moisturizing drops and repeat at least 4 times a day.

- Continue to apply Arnica gel around the nose, you can use this gel in nasal massage after 2 weeks. It is convenient to store this gel on the refrigerator door.

Stay away from hot, salty and spicy foods
