In the above photo, augmentation of the nasal bone and nasal root is described. When the anterior region of the nasal bridge is augmented by subcutaneous tissue or cartilage graft, it is seen that the wide triangular shape turns into a narrower and finely shaped triangle (making the nose look thinner from the front).
